A Life of Purpose in Education and Service
Jihane Kasshanna Dib is the Co-founder and principal of the French Section at the Lebanese International School in Kano, Nigeria. With over 20 years of experience in education and leadership, she has pioneered cross-cultural initiatives that enrich academic programs while fostering global awareness.
A TEDx speaker and a member of the Governing Council at Skyline University Nigeria, Jihane is a respected voice in educational development and innovation. Her work bridges Francophone education with African communities, creating inclusive learning environments and expanding opportunities for youth, particularly for girls.
Beyond the classroom, Jihane leads a robust portfolio of community service and social impact initiatives. She is deeply committed to empowering women through education, vocational training, and entrepreneurship support. She is currently exploring the creation of a microcredit program aimed at helping women in underserved communities launch and sustain small businesses, providing not just financial access, but mentorship and dignity.
Her broader CSR initiatives focus on food security, clean water access, and public health awareness. She has organized rural food distribution drives, clean water campaigns, and school-led efforts that support cancer patients and autism inclusion. Many of these projects are student-driven, reflecting her philosophy of nurturing civic responsibility through education.
Jihane is also a proud mother and global citizen, drawing inspiration from both her Lebanese heritage and her Nigerian community. Her leadership reflects a deep belief that education, when paired with action and empathy, can be a powerful catalyst for sustainable development and social equity.
